Circuit uses data from Open Street Maps and Google Maps to find the address of a stop, which provides the information for Circuit's in-app navigation.

Circuit does not own this data, so if you find that a stop address is incorrect (for example, the address is written correctly, but where that address is located on the map is incorrect), you will need to correct that address with Open Street Map or Google Maps.

How to correct an incorrect address on Open Street Maps

It only takes a few minutes to report an address error to Open Street Maps.

You can add a note about the error, or you can correct the error yourself.

Click this link to find out how > https://www.openstreetmap.org/fixthemap.

As soon as Open Street Map has reviewed and approved your suggested changes, these changes will appear in Circuit as well.

How to correct an incorrect address on Google Maps

It only takes a few minutes to report an address error to Google Maps.

  • On your mobile phone, go to Google Maps

  • Click on your Google account icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen

  • At the bottom of this page, select Help and feedback

  • On the Help and feedback page, select Edit the map

  • You will then be able to add or fix a place, fix an address, or add or fix a road

Reporting address errors when you see them helps you and benefits other drivers by making map data more accurate.
