Dispatchers can track the live location and route progress of every driver.

The live location of drivers updates every 15 seconds when they are using the mobile app or have it running in the background.

How to track drivers

  • To see your drivers go to Today's Overview and click > View map

  • This will show a map with all the routes that have been sent to drivers that day

  • Each driver's route is a different color

  • Each driver's live location is marked as a dot on the map

  • As stops are completed, the route will change from bold to a muted color to show the route progress

  • Click on a specific route for detailed progress information

  • Click the eye icon next to a group of routes, and they will be hidden from the map for a clearer view. Click the eye icon again when you want to make them visible

  • Click on a live route on the map and it will hide all other routes

How to understand map icons

Routes have map icons in order to quickly and easily show the status of a stop.

These stop icons are used to show the following stop information.

How to toggle between detailed and simplified stop icons

If you have many routes and stops in the same area, the overview map can become hard to read. To simplify your overview map, you can change the style of stop icons from detailed to simplified.

  • Go to the overview map

  • Click the stop icon button in the top right corner of the map

  • Toggle between detailed and simplified stop icon styles

  • Simplified stop icons reduce each stop icon to a small square

How to use geotags

Geotags record where a driver was when they marked a stop as completed.

Geotags are recorded using GPS on a driver's mobile device.

Example: The image below shows that the driver was 75km away from the stop when they marked it as delivered.

To see geotag information:

  • Click on a stop

  • Click on the distance text under the delivery status

Geotag data will show:

  • The latitude and longitude coordinates of the driver

  • The driver

  • The proof of delivery method used

  • A timestamp

  • An estimated address

How to use dynamic stop status icons

Dispatchers can track the status of stops on a live route.

Seeing in real-time whether a stop is going to be early or late allows for live changes to be made, which can increase the chances of successful delivery.

  • Click on a live route to see a list of all the stops on that route

  • Next to each stop is a dynamic stop status icon

Dynamic stop status icons are live indicators of a stop’s delivery progress:

  • Orange dot = The stop is at risk of being early or late

  • Green tick = The stop was completed on time

  • Orange tick = The stop was completed early or late

  • Red cross = The stop was not completed

If you hover over a dynamic stop status icon, it will display detailed information about:

  • Delivery status

  • Arrival time

  • Customer's ETA

How to select a map or satellite route view

Dispatchers can view routes on a standard map or detailed satellite view

  • Select a route

  • In the top right-hand corner of the screen, select the Map or Satellite icon

  • Map provides a standard simplified road map view

  • Satellite provides a photographic bird's eye view

  • Toggle between the two options to change the view type
